The Ethne to Ethne Movement – one that seeks to accelerate the momentum for ministry efforts among the least reached peoples of the world – hosted the Ethne ’06 consultation held in March 2006.  REACT served on the leadership of that event (click this link for a report on Ethne ’06). The on-going objective of Ethne is to respond to the cry of the of the “One-Fourth World.” After more than 25 years of specific emphasis on the unreached, over 27% of the world still has almost no access to hear or experience the Good News of Christ.  Following on from the consultation, there is a transition of regional “hosting” from South East Asia to Latin America. As a result, I will be attending the COMIBAM Congress from November 11-18, in Spain assisting this process.

Brian has been a very valuable member of the Ethne'06 Steering Committee.  His insights and leadership have been great assets in developing and enhancing collaboration in this trans-national movement.  He has provided leadership in strategic thinking, communicating our vision, and in helping to find the resources so key UPG-focused leaders can participate from all the regions of the world.--Dr. Kent Parks, Co-Facilitator, Ethne
