Architect for REACT Associates Program Appointed

Norman Brinkley brings vast experience and honed passions to new role designed to enhance younger leaders within the collaboration movement

(SEATTLE: For Immediate Release) Norman Brinkley, an experienced cross-cultural partnership catalyst, will become Chief Architect of the REACT Associates Program starting July 1, 2013.

“Norm brings a wealth of applied knowledge on building intercultural partnering efforts that unite diverse organizations for Kingdom impact,” said Brian O’Connell, President and CEO of REACT Services. “He’ll strengthen and expand the REACT Associates Program which aims to seed the attitudes and skills of collaboration into the next generation of leaders.”

The REACT Associates are a select group of younger leaders who work in the world of partnering and collaboration. Brinkley will come alongside each Associate’s vision and help design programs that can equip, enable and support them and their teams. For more about the REACT Associates program, click here.

“The title ‘architect’ conveys our vision for Norm to work with each REACT Associate, who is like a building owner, and with myself as the REACT CEO, who is like the general contractor, to design and develop a beautiful and functional structure that influences its surroundings,” said O’Connell.

Norm Brinkley 2013 websiteBrinkley joins REACT after working as the International Director for the Middle East and North Africa for Humanitarian International Services Group (HISG). Additionally, Brinkley and his family lived and worked in the Middle East and North Africa for more than two decades with Operation Mobilization.

“I am excited about this new responsibility to enhance and develop the REACT Services Associates Program and see it naturally fitting into my skills, experience, and who I am. I look forward to using my long-standing passions for relationships, business, entrepreneurship, and leader development for Kingdom collaboration with the next generation,” said Brinkley.

Through his work with HISG, Brinkley connected regularly with REACT Services on network development for the Refugee Highway Partnership, Near East Initiatives, Middle East Majority Peoples Consultation, and the Starfish Community Expos. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Azusa Pacific University and did graduate studies at Talbot Seminary. He and his wife, Joni, have four grown children and nine grandchildren.
