Stuart Weir

Stuart Weir has been the Executive Director of Verité Sport since its founding 2006.  Before that he worked 16 years for Christians in Sport, the largest sports ministry in the United Kingdom. Verité Sport is a registered charity in the UK, which exists to promote a Christian presence in sport, and to take the teachings of the Bible and to apply them to sport. They partner with indigenous Christian ministries throughout the world, including a girls’ soccer and education project in Togo West Africa, a cricket academy in Pakistan, a basketball initiative in Kazakhstan, and soccer and education for disadvantaged young people in Ukraine.

Since 2014, Verité Sport have run athlete Bible Studies on the international track and field circuit, and through a partnership with the English Football Association, have been able to distribute over 7,000 pieces of soccer uniforms (new but surplus) to Christian missions around the world.
