Vitaly Shamaev
Associate for Central Asia
Vitaly Vadimovich Shamaev serves as the Head of International Department of State Business Incubator under the State Committee of Investment and State Property of the Tajikistan Republic.
Based in Dushanbe, Vitaly’s overall experience includes work in management and development companies for 19 years. He has also worked as a rural area development manager of a sports program, and since 2013 has run Toji Nurafshon, an NGO focused on development of sport programs in rural area of the country. In addition, he has continued to work with the “Fifty-Five” Group, a business company with a focus on business trainings, start-ups, and international business development. Since 2009, he has worked as part of the Executive Staff of the Central Committee of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) as the national coordinator of youth program, working with volunteers and developing a unified, system database for the management of over 12,000 RCST volunteers. In 2017 and 2018 he worked as an international director of a trade company in Guangzhou, China.
Vitaly’s ministry background has also been quite broad, and he now serves as the Team Leader of Central Asian Ministry Outreach which engages in a variety of different spheres including youth ministry, sports outreach, business education and training, camps, and translation services. This partnering team is allocated across four Central Asian countries.
In 2001, Vitaly graduated from the Kurgan-Tube Medical College with a specialty “Doctor Assistant” diploma. In 2004, Vitaly graduated from the Eurasian Inductive Study Bible University in Tashkent, with a certificate with “Bucharest” specialty as trainer and disciple coach. Later that year, he also received a certification in Kazakhstan on strategy for the societal transformation through work with children.
He also went through the International School of Leadership in South Africa with specialties including partnering, organization management, leadership development, intercultural relations, organizing training of trainers, and personality development.
He has a variety of training, certifications, and skills from working with disabled people in Vakhsh (a city in south Tajikistan), to strategic planning, computer proficiencies, design, and partnership development. He is also a member Associate with the International Partnering Associates. Vitaly is married to Dianna and has four children: Matthew, Daniel, Avenier, and Michael.
